He ate his Mom’s laptop and power cord! Not even my road flare trick or Codie Rae can top that one.

Geez, he was just trying to help her by getting rid of that box that makes her so mad all the time. His Dad didn’t scold him too bad though since Wiley Riley was smart enough to not get caught in the act. But later, check this out; his Mom came home with a new chew toy for him!

But since I came to live with my pack though, they keep bringing me all kinds of cool stuff to play with. Like this big fluffy snake. And some guy named Bart. I heard the humans call them toys.

Whatever they are, they sure taste good. Especially the white suff that’s always inside them.

Oh, by the way, can you see that white strip across my nose? That’s from that stupid Gentle Leader that Mom and Dad keep making me wear whenever I walk. That darn thing is making me lose my hair on my snout! I keep trying to tell them I don’t need it. So they take it off me, and the we go on a walk and I guess they don’t like the way I walk without it, becuase right back on it goes.

Maybe some day I won’t have to wear it anymore. I’d sure like my nose hair to grow back!

I guess it’s because I have this gross “papilloma” warty thing on my lip that started getting bigger a couple of weeks ago. Apparently I must have gotten it from some other dog.

I don’t even care about it. It doesn’t get in the way of my eating and that’s all I care about. But Mom and Dad keep pulling my scissor jaws apart and checking out my mouth like every five minutes! This thing is bugging them more than it is me.

Good thing it’s starting to fall off now and get smaller. I can’t wait till it’s gone.

That Northern California Tripawds Party yesterday at the Mill Valley dog park reminded my people of the awesome get-together we had at the same place back in December. But I had to remind them that we never posted the video they made in my blog! After all, I was the host of honor.

Mom says all this dirt I’m playing in is turning our RV into a dog house.

I say, what’s wrong wth that?

We packed up and left my Grandpawrent’s house in Los Angeles last week. Now we are in the desert, by this big stinky lake they call the “Salton Sea.” This place is craaaaaaazy. Lots of kooky campers, some wild desert dawgs, coyotes, and crazy jets zooming around most days. They’re loud but they don’t bug me a bit.

The place we are camped still isn’t as nutty as my Grandpawrent’s house was. Over there they had people coming and going all the time, and lots of little kids who kept running from me. 

They were loud and made me all nervous and jumpy. I had to constantly be on alert there. Every time I barked they got more and more afraid of me. I wasn’t trying to hurt them, I was just being as energetic as they were, you know what I mean?

The funny thing is, they didn’t seem to get that maybe if they didn’t act so afraid of me, I wouldn’t have been so nervous. Duuuuh.

It’s pretty quiet here in the desert, and I like it that way. When dogs do come around, I tend to get pretty excited, but I think I’m getting better at sending silent psychic messages that tell them to be cool, instead of barking my head off.

Oh hey, here’s a picture of me eating these yummy raw rib bones that I got for my BIRTHDAY. Yeah, I turned 1 year old in January! Yipee! Hoppy Birthday to me! My pawrents are so lame, they didn’t make a big deal out of it like some Tripawd pawrents do around here. That’s alright, I’ll forgive them….this time. Maybe next year I’ll get some trachea!

Sheesh, if you had just told me that, I wouldn’t have bit your ear in three places.

P.S. Mom says that she’s glad I defended myself. There’s nothing worse than seeing a Tripawd getting nailed by a quadruped.

They think I’m this crazy beast or something. Ok, so I like to say hello by wrapping my mouth around their wrists and nibbling on their fingers. And perhaps my ear-splitting “hellos” leave them shaking in their shoes.

Maybe that’s why Grandpa keeps calling me Lobo!

There was about 20 acres to run around, but I chose to keep playing in one spot with this cute gal dog I met…

Dipper was a big girl who liked to play ruff. We took turns being Alpha, and had lots of fun. I got really good and tired, so my peeps could trust me alone in the truck while they enjoyed a long buffet brunch. I was sacked out the whole time and didn’t feel like doing any damage. But they didn’t even bring me any leftovers!

Right now I’m driving up with my pawrents to see Codie Rae, Smokey B., and the adoptable Travis Ray in the mountains. I got bored sitting in the back of my Granddad’s car that we borrowed, and found something really cool to sink my teeth into. Guess what it was?

A first aid kit! Yeah, I found a really cool first aid kit in the back where I’m sitting. The antiseptic didn’t taste so good, but the road flare gave me some good chewing action. I was chomping away when Dad said to Mom, “Uh, I think you’d better check on him…”

And Mom turned around and screamed! I just don’t get what the big deal is. I was calm and quiet and just chomping away on the road flare.

Mom yells “you have three kongs, a tire and a bear, and you still eat the road flare! What’s UP with that?!!!”

She’s on the Internet now, looking for the ingredients in a road flare. I can tell you, it was about as tasty as a piece of bark. I feel pretty good, don’t see why she is so worked up.

Oh what fun, I can’t wait to see my pals and tell them what I found!
