I’ve Been Everywhere, Man

Three legged spokes dog Wyatt Ray shares his winter road trip adventure travels from Colorado to Californi and back.

When my folks got me out of Oaktown in August, I had no idea what I was in for.

They took me to their house in the mountains, and it was great. But just when I thought I was going to have a nice comfy life up here, white stuff started falling from the sky and before I could say “Snow Day!” Mom and Dad packed our stuff up and away we went.

Nevada. California. Arizona. New Mexico. Texas. New Mexico again. Then, back to Colorado, which is where we are now.

It was a crazy winter and I have to admit, I was a pretty crazy dog. What I saw, man it was so different from the life in the city that I knew. We  had our share of ups and downs, but I think it was a pretty good trip.

The last couple of weeks I got to see some humans who met me when I first joined my pawrent’s pack. And you know what they said?

They said that I had changed!

Some of them said I was much healthier and stronger. And others said that I was more well behaved and paid more attention to Mom and Dad. Me? Me! That made me feel pretty good, and I think I saw Dad smile too.

Now, we’re back in the big dog house that doesn’t go anywhere, hanging out and working working working. Well, Mom and Dad are working on their computers all the time.

Me, I’m keeping guard and watching out for the moose that we keep seeing around here.  And I try to get my folks out to enjoy this pretty place.

It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Slabber Dawg

Three legged dog Wyat Ray shares his road trip adventure in the Southern California desert at Slab City.

Can’t say I don’t mind this camping thing at Slab City. It’s sunny and kinda warm every day. I get to hang out in the dirt, dig holes and even run around a golf course when Mom and Dad aren’t working.

Seriously. There is a golf course right here in the desert.

It doesn’t have any grass, but who needs grass to chase a ball around?

Tennis balls, golf balls, basket balls, I’m your dawg!

Mom says all this dirt I’m playing in is turning our RV into a dog house.

I say, what’s wrong wth that?

Hoppy Christmas Everyone!

Three legged Wyatt Ray Dawg’s first Christmas.

Yesterday we went to a big pawty. There were presents and food and dog cookies and even a great big tree inside the house with lights on it! I don’t know why, but the humans seemed to think December 24th was a big deal.

All of my pawrents human family was there and I got to meet everyone. There were some little dogs there too, I guess they were my cousins, and they kept trying to attack me. Those little white dogs made me really nervous. I stayed inside with Mom and Dad all night and even though it was really noisy and I was just a little scared (just a little!), I didn’t eat the little dogs or jump on the humans. When it was all over I was so tired.

Then today, we had another pawty! A smaller one and it was just us. But I got presents from this guy called “Santa” and Spirit Jerry! Lots of new toys and a Kong and another crazy toy that Dad says I can chew on all I want! Wow.

Thanks Mom and Dad and Mr. Jesus and Santa and Jerry and everyone, I don’t know what I did to deserve this pawty but it was sure fun! Thanks for the cool toys!

A Ten Legged Furry Family Reunion

Wyatt sees his German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California foster family in Colorado.

Before we left Colorado, my pals Codie Rae and Smokey came to visit me, all the way from California!

This is the crazy bunch I lived with last summer before my Mom and Dad took me home with them.

I never thought I would see that rowdy bunch again. When they pulled into my driveway, I went craaaaaaazy!

We played for three days straight. It was like a non-stop doggie rave.

Bark! Bark! Woof! Bark! ! Wooooooof!!!

I’m telling ya, non-stop! Codie Rae was so hoppy to see me, she leaped five feet into the air.

As you can see in my movie, we had a crazy time. I can’t wait to see them again, maybe after Christmas when we have another Northern California Tripawds Pawty.
