I always thought my initials, WRD, were for my name: Wyatt Ray Dawg. ThatΒ would make sense, right?
But apparently, during the pawliday season, WRD stands for something else. And I don’t like it one bit. I thought all that swimming I did last summer counted as enough bathing for a lifetime. But mom and dad had other ideas.
Wash
Rinse
Dry
Life is ruff when you’re a dawg during the pawlidays. It’s all about being clean when you go visiting, right? How totally exhausting!
From me, Wyatt Ray Dawg, and my people: Hoppy Thanksgiving to you and your pack! May all the turkeys get pardoned, like my feathered friends in Montana.
Whoever said that dogs didn’t have facial expressions clearly hasn’t met you Wyatt! π π
Priceless!
Manni would be with you on that, but he never had to endure what you just did.
And from the German vegetarian: couldn’t agree more with the turkey comment. Beautiful picture of amazing creatures!
Hoppy Thanksgiving. Wyatt at least you are very handsome to visit your relatives.
hugs

Sorry you’ve had to endure the indignities of human traditions like bathing! Just wrong on so many levels!
And I agree with Tjna, your expression let’s everybody know EXACTLY what you are thinking..and it’s X-rated!!
Very sweet picture of you holding down your Daddy’s leg so he can’t get up and try this bathing stunt again!
And that is a beautiful picture of the Turkey family. I’m fortunate enough to have some on my property. The parents, both Mom and Dad, are unbelievably protective of their youngsters.
Happy Tofurkey Dayπ
Wyatt!!!! I just noticed some gray in your muzzle! As long as you were at the beauty parlor, they should’ve taken care of that for you! π Looking good buddy, hope you got some turkey for your trouble – and not that tofou crap either.

Heh heh, my mom says the gray makes me look like George Clooney. I’ll take it.
No turkey for me this year but dad’s cooking something special today. One can always hope! Hoppy Thanksgiving!
Thanks Sally, I knew you would see things my way. Hoppy Tofurkey Day to you too!
Oh let me tell you how grateful my grandpawrents were when I showed up all clean. That is, until my fur exploded all over their living room. I say you can’t have it all, right? Hoppy Thanksgiving my friend!
Tina, I think I need to be in the movies because my facial expressions are so versatile, don’t you? And are you saying that Manni never had to have a dog wash bath? WHAT?! I’m telling my people! Hoppy Tofurkey Day to you Tina, my pawents are with ya on that!
Poor Wyatt you had to get a bath to see Grandma and Grandpa;) I did not know you could use Dr.Bronners on dogs, of course, why not! Wyatt, I bet you smell lovely looks like lavender even.
I love you always have a hand on Dad’s leg as he works.
Ditto on the Turkey Parden we had Gardein roast, and we feed our wild turkeys hehe. The boys do eat meat, not the humans.
Hoppy late Tofurky day!
Loads of love to you all!
I knew you’d get where I was coming from Holly! And yeah, mom and dad use Dr. Bs on me sometimes. I don’t mind the lavender smell, it’s better than the peppermint they used when they were trying to keep ticks off me!
I’m happy that you had Tofurkey for dinner. Them turkeys are pretty pawesome creatures, live and let live I say!
