Jerry. Jerry. Jerry.

I understand this Jerry dawg has left me some rather large paw prints to fill.

But really, I am not and never will be Jerry. I know my new people know this. And it must be hard not to compare considering how many lives Jerry has touched, and what a wonderful thing he has he has caused to happen here with this whole Tripawds Blogs community.

But for the record, I am the new dog. And while we may never share that same bond they had with the almighty Jerry, I get the feeling they would like to try. I think we’ll make a great pack, if they would just let me be Alpha.

PS for Jerry: Thanks for the football.

  1. Wyatt-
Its not about sharing the same bond Jerry had or filling in his paw print….it’s about making your own.

All us dogs find our own way to worm our way into a special section of our peeps hearts reserved for just us. So don’t go for Jerry’s section – make your own.

Life is Better on 3 Legs than 4

PS On wanting to be Alpha…well a boy can dream….but I wouldn’t hold your breath.

  2. Hey Wyatt….you need to remind Mom & Dad that every soul (yes…even a dog soul) has a purpose. Jerry had his purpose and he will always live through Tripawds.
You have a purpose too. Yet to be discovered in many ways, I suppose healing the hearts of your parents might be your number one job!

  3. Well, my name is Gunner and I keep hearing about Dakota. So I know what you mean, Wyatt. Sometimes they even call me Dakota and it’s Dakota used to do this, and oh look, Gunner is doing a Dakota, whatever that means!? But then mommy gets all gooey and smooshy and tells me how much she loves me so I think I’ll keep her for a while. Bet you plan on keeping your mom and dad too!

  4. Keep them for sure. Even though they’re having a hard time with understanding you are ALPHA dawg! Plus they give you good yummies. That raw chicken sounded so good but mommy is leery of BARF. I did eat the fortune paper from her fortune cookie last night though. That was not too yummy.
