Yo soy el lobo de Los Angeles

Three legged German Shepherd puppy Wyatt wonders why people are afraid of him.

All the people in my Mom’s family here in Los Angeles are afraid of me. I have no idea why.

They think I’m this crazy beast or something. Ok, so I like to say hello by wrapping my mouth around their wrists and nibbling on their fingers. And perhaps my ear-splitting “hellos” leave them shaking in their shoes.

Maybe that’s why Grandpa keeps calling me Lobo!

So hey, why not act like one? A wolf, that is.

Hoooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwllllllllllllll!

But see, I have a soft side too! I can be a real ladies’ man, you know!

  1. Hey Wyatt

Maybe it is because your parents keep telling your gramps that you are el loco lobo.

  2. How could anyone be afraid of such a handsome boy?? My Wolfie also acts like a wolf at times… and some people are afraid… but he is just a big baby to me! Though sometimes, my dad calls him Diabel (in polish) when he is acting crazy. Must be a shepherd thing… 🙂

  3. Yeah, I heard about that one. Was it that René tried to bite Wyatt who had to defend himself with a head-butt or something like that, eh?

Do we get to see a pic of the ‘fat lip’?

  4. That first picture actually looks like he’s laughing with glee…or is it gleefully laughing? Or maybe it’s maniacal laughter. Hard to say….either way, we get it….he likes to play!
Love the pix at the bottom of him and Codie. Such sweeties.

  5. Oh Wyatt Ray,
Your mom’s family just doesn’t get it. You just can’t contain your excitement!
My Rugby used to be the same way. He sounded like a 6-year old little girl screaming when he saw anyone. Yeah, it got old and I’d have to tell him to be quiet because mommy and daddy wouldn’t. They would just covered their ears and I couldn’t because, well…you know.
I overheard my mommy say one day, “I want do-overs!”. But she didn’t mean it. Because now she misses the screaming.

Rugby and I would have made a great episode for the “Dog Whisperer”!

  6. Who could be scared of you? I thought it was proper to saw hello by wrapping your mouth around wrists and nibbling on fingers. Maybe I have been doing it wrong all this time 🙁 !! Oh well it is fun that way! Keep it up Wyatt!
