An Agile Afternoon

Three legged amputee German Shepherd Wyatt tries agility course in Colorado.

Tripawd Maggie is my inspawration.

I’ve been watching her videos and thinking, “Hey, if she can do agility, so can I!”

Not that I know anything about it, but I got to mess with some agility stuff at a dog parade a while back and it was kinda fun!

So what if I couldn’t do the narrow balance beam thing, I tore up the rest of the course!

I might not get any points for poise, but who cares?

All that matters is that Tripawds like us get out there and show the world that we can do just about anything those funny looking quadpawds can do!

Come on Tripawds, are you with me?

  1. Congrats on making the effort- don’t worry poise is so overrated!!

It is so great when any Tripawd can go out and show the world how ‘able’ they are, even if it is just by standing still.

Keep on hoppin’ and balancin’ and leapin’

  2. You go Wyatt!

I think you have wonderful Dad. Every pup should be so lucky.
You’re are our hero wyatt. Keep up the good work.

  3. Sorry Wyatt – I’m not with you. That’s too much work!

But I gotta admit that you look super duper doing whatever you are doing (and I might add, pretty darned handsome)!

I maybe would hop and do a little jig for a treat but I’ll take a pass on anything that could exert myself too much! Let’s just say we did it and then not.

However, I’ll take a nip at monkeybutt without getting a treat reward! Making him squeal is my reward!

  4. You look wonderful, Wyatt. Nobody could ever tell you didn’t know what you were doing! I’m more of a nap girl myself, but hey – if it means showing up all the quadpawds, I’m up for anything.
