Tripawd Turnip Timeout

Wanna see a three-legged German Shepherd have a good time? Watch Wyatt Ray have a Tripawd Turnip Timeout!

Hey pawty people, it’s been a long time hasn’t it? I’ve got so much to tell you. My summer was full of unexpected adventures. Instead of patrolling the ranch like every other summer, I watched over the lake at Jerry’s Acres when my k9 coach said I could swim again.

Tripawd Swims
My summer in a nutshell.

I dig the water. I can swim all day. You’d think I was part Lab or something. But I’m not all about swimming. When I don’t feel like doing laps, I play turnip toss with my dad. Check it out.

We spent all summer in the mountains. I loved it there. No leashes, hardly no people and lots of crazy animals around. Oh but did you notice I said loved? Yeah, my people put a sign out in front of the dog house one day and the next thing I knew, they took everything out of it. Soon after that, we left in the dog house on wheels and some new people showed up with their stuff.

Tripawd Turnip Time Out
My most favorite toy. Yum!

Now it’s time to get back to the road dawg life. That’s cool, ’cause it’s all I really know. Been doing it since I was a wee thing. I love the different places we live all year. Well, usually.

My people parked the house in California a few days ago and it’s HOT here. I didn’t even get to play in the Colorado snow this year. What a drag for this snow dog. My mom say she hates snow and cold and all that. So when the white stuff falls from the sky, we leave. We do what she says in this pack. After all, when mom is hoppy . . .

Totally Tripawd Totality

I’m an active dawg, but the other day my humans woke me up way too early. It was still dark out and they made me get into the truck. We hadn’t done that for a while since we got to Colorado in June.

So we drive and drive and I keep hearing the humans talk about the clips. I’m like “What clips dude?” but they just kept going on. And driving. And finally we stop by the side of a road and there’s all these people hanging out. They’ve got chairs and big technical things pointed at the sky. “Ok whatever” I say. “There goes my crazy people again.”

My people did the same as the other humans. They put out their chairs, did some stuff on their devices, talked, ate and seemed to be waiting for something to happen. I had no idea what they were up to until a few minutes later, this happened:

“WOW! WHEEEE!” Duuuuuude! Things went from morning to night . . . and the back again!

Uh guys, where’d the sun go?

That was worth getting up early for, don’t you think?

Hoppy Mayuary, Colorado Tripawds

Hellooooo Colorado! How I love thee!

No people, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. These pictures were taken yesterday. May 18, 2017.

Haw haw Mom and Dad. You took me to the hot desert all winter and thought you could run away from the cold.

But winter found me. And I am SO HOPPY!

Kick the ball, people! Let’s roll!

I tell ya, I was made for snow. I love it so much. It’s way more fun than catcuses and sand. Check out my snow plow imitation.

Winter, please stay longer OK?

Get Well Wishes and News from Northern Cal

Tripawd Wyatt gives a news update about his Northern California pals, parties and beach adventures.

Hey people! It’s been a long time and I got all kinds of news for ya. Time to sit back and chill so you can catch up.

First, my best bud Tripawd Travis Ray is having a big surgery this week. So let’s all give him a big GET WELL shout out together OK?

Travis gets ready for surgery.

It’s a serious surgery but I’ll let his momma tell you more. Maybe she will even update Travis’ blog!

And now onto other news:

The Beach Boy is Back

I’m back in Jerry’s old romping grounds, NorCal. Dang what a good time so far. Me and my peeps met up with a few pals from the NorCal Tripawds crew.  You know, Shelby the Petite Princess and her bro Dusty Dude, Ellie the Tripug-Mutt my dear bride Hannah Rae and her sister and brother. They had a special play day just for ME!

Then I got to go back to the beach. Wheee! Sand is so soft and fun. But I forgot that sand isn’t like the snow I love to eat so much. When you eat sand, it gets, uh, stuck in your belleh. Not fun.

Tripawd, dog, beach, play
“Wheee! I love sand!”

Can you tell I love the beach? It’s hard work running on three legs in the sand. I ain’t afraid of hard work, but my people are paranoid so they don’t let me play in it that long. I could go all day.

“Catch me if you can!”

We walked around and I saw this sign. It’s so sad they won’t let Golden Retrievers on the beach, don’t you think? I wonder why.

“No Golden Retrievers on the beach”? What?

I love the waves. I think I want to be a life guard. Since I’m in Cali right now, why not? Stay tuned for my Baywatch Adventures.

‘My next job: lifeguard!”

Meet the Sin City Show Dog This Week at WVC

If you’re in Las Vegas come meet Tripawds Spokesdog Wyatt Ray at the Western Veterinary Conference 2017.

It ain’t easy being the Tripawds Spokesdog. On Friday my folks thought that it would be good to celebrate Tri Day by giving me a bath! What the …?

Tripawd, Bone Appetit, Las Vegas, German Shepherd
“This is a weird way to celebrate Tripawd Awarenss.”

Oh wait. I know why they did it. Because they want me all spiffy for the Western Veterinary Conference we’re doing this week in Lost Vegas. Yeah I get to be a dancin’ poodle all week, struttin’ my stuff and showing vets what Tripawds can do.

Tripawd, WVC, Las Vegas, German Shepherd
“Viva Las Vegas, here I am!”

Being a spokesdog at a conference is hard. The place where we stay has nowhere for a dog to have fun. Show days are long too, but the vets make it easy. After all, who better to come up and pet me all day long than humans who totally GET dogs like me? They’re my kinda peeps.

“I’m ready for my close-up.”

If you’re in Las Vegas between March 5 and 9th, come see me at WVC!
