This Tripawd Goes Here. There. And Everywhere.

Wyatt has been busy this winter, including a stint as movie star and director for a short film about his life in the dog house on wheels.

I’ve said it before. I’ll bark it again. I’ve been everywhere, man. But you’d never know it based on my blog. Hey, a travelin’ Tripawd Spokesdawg has lots to do.

Don’t fence me in.

I’ve got roamin’ in my DNA and lately it’s taken me to my favorite places like the desert. My people are afraid of winter. So we wait there until it’s over. Or until something important happens, like . . .

I hear stardom calling.

My big movie debut!

It is time for my close-up?

Ok well not really a movie, but a video about my people. We traveled around in the Arizona outback where a film crew followed me and my people in the dog house. It was a lot like when Jerry was on TV. But this time, I was the star!

The movie crew thought I was pawesome. Naturally.

And since the director knew what a talented dawg I am, he strapped this movie camera on my back and let ME do the film making. Just wait, you’re gonna love it.

Are we done yet?

I get tired just thinking about all that movie stuff. You won’t believe what we did! I can’t say anything more for now but I promise I will soon.

Over and out.

Nine Years and No Stoppin Me Now

Wyatt Ray Dawg turns nine years old today, come pawty with us and watch dogs sing happy birthday to our hero!

“Where does the time go?” I hear humans say this a lot. Silly bipeds, if only they would remember there’s no such thing as “time.” The only “time” there is, is happening now people. Right here, right now. And at this very moment, I happen to be a NINE year old Tripawd!

No. More. Unwrapping. Please.

That’s nine Christmases like this last one, which was the best ever. I opened so many presents I passed out.

You know what my favorite present was? Why a treat dispenser, of course! After all, I’m a chow hound.

That’s nine years of being Tripawds spokesdog and showing all those four-leggers like my new pal Donovan, that we Tripawds can keep up with the pack and show em how things are done!

“Hey kid, watch me!”

And that’s nine years of giving my parents more vetscapades and more gray hair. Sorry!

nine year old Tripawd

But best of all, it’s nine years of the road dawg life that I wouldn’t have otherwise had if it wasn’t for my pals the Oaktown Pack, who found my people when I needed them most. Thanks dudes.

The Oaktown Pack gave me the good life.

Enough of the speech. Now it’s time to party down people and sing Hoppy Ninth Birthday to meeeeee!

One of These Things is Not Like the Other

Tripawd Wyatt ends up in a cone again at the dogtor but this time it’s not his fault he says.

Seems I can’t go a whole year without ending up in the cone of shame. “It’s always somethin” my maw says. Only this time, it wasn’t my fault, I swear!

And I asked myself, “How did I get there?”

Last week I woke up feeling bad. I dunno, something made my stomach upset. Before I knew it, last night’s dinner came back up. Only before it landed on the floor, I inhaled it. “Eeew!” I know you’re thinking. But hey I’m a dog, it’s what we do.

Problem is those tasty left overs went down my windpipe. Then I got a fever (104!). And then it was the hospital for me.

“Inhalation new-moan-ya” they call it.

They called it new-moan-ya. Whatever it was, now it’s hard to breathe. And I’m not real hungry. But they let me go home and I’m trying hard to feel good again. I’ll be back soon when I feel good enough to tell you more.

A Turkey Tripawd Gets Traction in da Pawliday House

Did Wyatt Ray have another pie-a-thon this Thanksgiving? Find out in his latest adventure when a Turkey Tripawd Celebrates a Festive Pawliday.

Hoppy Thanksgiving weekend Tripawds friends! I hope everypawdy had a fun pawliday getting spoiled by the pack. Mine was okay. Unlike last year’s pie-scapade, this year’s festivities were low key for me. Let’s put it this way: I didn’t end the night by throwing up or seeing the dogtor!

Where’s the pawty?

My people took me to my grandpawrent’s house. They have slick floors (and I don’t mean cool slick) that make it hard for me to walk. Mom was freaked out so she got me some more Paw Friction stuff and put it on before we made the big drive.

Wait? Are you gonna use this on ME?

I’m not a fan of anyone touching my feet. But in this case it was a good thing. I got to my grandpaw’s crib and was able to hop around and beg for treats!

OK I kinda like traction for Tripawds like me!

Unfortunately, mom and dad told everypawdy about my notorious pie-a-thon. “Don’t turn your back on him and don’t feed him anything!” they said to the other bipawds. So I got NO pie at all. Isn’t that mean?

Turkey Tripawd
Where’s the pie? I’m waiting!

Lucky me I got cooked sweet potato and some dark turkey meat instead. Better than nothing I say, and it makes me grateful for having such a pawesome pack who makes sure my belly is well fed. Even if it isn’t with pie.

I hope that your human and furry pack mates are having a fun pawliday weekend together! Keep in touch!

Tripawd Turnip Timeout

Wanna see a three-legged German Shepherd have a good time? Watch Wyatt Ray have a Tripawd Turnip Timeout!

Hey pawty people, it’s been a long time hasn’t it? I’ve got so much to tell you. My summer was full of unexpected adventures. Instead of patrolling the ranch like every other summer, I watched over the lake at Jerry’s Acres when my k9 coach said I could swim again.

Tripawd Swims
My summer in a nutshell.

I dig the water. I can swim all day. You’d think I was part Lab or something. But I’m not all about swimming. When I don’t feel like doing laps, I play turnip toss with my dad. Check it out.

We spent all summer in the mountains. I loved it there. No leashes, hardly no people and lots of crazy animals around. Oh but did you notice I said loved? Yeah, my people put a sign out in front of the dog house one day and the next thing I knew, they took everything out of it. Soon after that, we left in the dog house on wheels and some new people showed up with their stuff.

Tripawd Turnip Time Out
My most favorite toy. Yum!

Now it’s time to get back to the road dawg life. That’s cool, ’cause it’s all I really know. Been doing it since I was a wee thing. I love the different places we live all year. Well, usually.

My people parked the house in California a few days ago and it’s HOT here. I didn’t even get to play in the Colorado snow this year. What a drag for this snow dog. My mom say she hates snow and cold and all that. So when the white stuff falls from the sky, we leave. We do what she says in this pack. After all, when mom is hoppy . . .
